Bexhill Farmers Market is open every Friday from 8.30am-2pm in
Devonshire Square, which is in the Town Centre of Bexhill, East Sussex.
Local producers of all kinds sell produce at the Market, including
local fish from Hastings, fresh meat from local butchers, fruit and veg
from local farms and other interesting attractions, such as lovely oils,
tasty cakes, pies, cheese, pickles and chutneys, local crafts and a
stall where you can pick up
leaflets about lots of local things to do and local businesses.
Every few weeks there are also charity stalls, highlghting local causes, including Fire Safety and Community Pastors. It is a very friendly event with some fantastic things to buy - last year, there were massive cauliflowers and tomatoes, it was so much fresher and bigger than what you can get in the normal shops, including giant Scotch Eggs and unusual chutnies and chilli oil.
Not only is the market a regular event for Bexhill, but if you go, why not try visiting some of the other shops in Bexhill. As well as plenty of charity bargains, there are a variety of shops and cafes.
The Market Manager is Chris Ashford - Telephone (Mobile): 07786 024036.
Some of the stallholders details are in the picture - others will be highlighted in the Spring and Summer.
