Calling all Tradespeople

Introducing the benefits of joining Events in Towns.

Do you advertise on social media?  Is this a time-consuming task that is proving ever-more difficult?   Do you spend a lot of time and money on advertising, with low levels of return?   Are you reaching your ideal audience?  Do you co-ordinate advertising for other organisations?   Are you too busy to advertise, but would like to, or just starting out with a very low budget?   Do any of the above questions resonate with you?

 

If so, Events in Towns might be able to help.  Not only do we advertise events, one of our main plans is to provide a solid advertising service for all public-facing businesses.  Those businesses who keep the residents in our wonderful towns happy by providing the services necessary to keep homes pleasant, gardens pretty and families secure from overcrowding.

Our trades form the bulk of the self-employed and courageous entrepreneurs who have set out to grow and run small businesses by their millions.  Brickies, builders, plumbers, electricians – all of you deserve something to help you get seen by potential customers.  Fencers, decorators, gardeners and tree surgeons.  Window-cleaners, kitchen and bathroom fitters, carpets fitters, architects and surveyors (and all  those trades I haven’t mentioned, there are so many – home mechanics, cleaners, blind-makers, upholsterers!).  We are on your side when it comes to advertising.  If you baulk at having to advertise on social media, why don’t you try setting up your organisation page on Events in Towns?

You’ll benefit from views by everybody who checks what’s on in their town or a town they are visiting – 12,000 views in March 2025.  Once tradespeople start to get established on our site, people will also start looking for tradespeople on our site, especially when we publicise our credentials across the social media platforms, so you won’t have to anymore (unless you enjoy the endless hours of chat with your buddies and a bunch of complete strangers!).

Your Organisation Page on Events in Towns offers a completely editable window for your business, which displays on the site results whenever your Town is searched on the Home Page.  It will also get prime views when a person chooses the Browse by Town option.  To set up the page, you simply need to upload a photograph, perhaps your logo and telephone number or even just a nice pic of your van.  Add your website or an email for people to contact you and a few Tags to identify the type of works or services you provide.  And hit Publish.  You can change the details as many times as you like.

Within the Membership, you can also add ‘events’ such as ‘I have a slot next Wednesday if you are looking for a quote’.  These too can be amended, or just copy and re-publish with another date.  The event ad shows until the end of the day of the event.
