2. MEMBERS AND FREE ADVERTISING

Members and Free Advertisers unpublished Personal Data is protected by
encryption software against third party use and will only be used by
Events in Towns for internal administration and analytical use.

Where Members and Free Advertisers’ have published content on this
website, this content may be shared to Events in Towns social media
pages on, for example, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or
LinkedIn, only for the purposes of advertising published Member or Free
Advertiser events or business content. Events in Towns will not include
published events and/or Members business content in its own Marketing
Campaigns, unless permission for this activity has been expressly
given.

Events in Towns reserves the right to contact Members and Free
Advertisers by email for occasional Member-related activities. Members
and Free Advertisers may opt out of these emails by clicking on
‘Unsubscribe’ option within a relevant email.

Members will be invited to re-subscribe annually.

Payment details are not held by Events in Towns. Subscriptions are
payable via a third party website only.

Your use of this website must not involve the publication of offensive
material. Events in Towns reserves the right to unpublish any content
and/or to remove Membership at its sole discretion.

Members and Free Advertisers, permit us to list their music or
performance-based events on our sister site, Onefreegig.com, or other
wholly-owned website/s which may from time to time be used for this
purpose.
3. EVENTS IN TOWNS OBLIGATIONS
20. Unpublished Personal Information identifying a user will not be
disclosed by Events in Towns to anyone unless authorised by that individual
specifically or by deed, or where Events in Towns are compelled to disclose
such information by Law.
21. We take Complaints regarding content or our services very seriously,
when submitted via our contact details on the website, or via our social
media pages.
22. We will not use your Personal Data for any purpose, other than to
advertise your published activities and to contact you for legitimate
purposes in the administration of the Events in Towns services
4. PRIVACY NOTICE
23. Events in Towns respects the confidentiality of the personal
information relating to its individual site visitors, Members and Free
Advertisers and the laws governing the privacy of information that apply in
the United Kingdom and we will do everything within our reasonable power to
protect all data on the website, including personal data, both published
and unpublished.
24. Personal Data held by Events in Towns includes name, email, telephone
number, address and encrypted registration details. We do not hold any bank
account details. This data is only used for administrative, analytical and
occasional marketing purposes. Users can unsubscribe from Marketing emails
at any time.
25. We will keep the website and the servers on which it is situated secure
and take all appropriate steps to maintain appropriate security provisions
using up-to-date software and tools.
26. We will not use data provided by site users for Events in Towns own
Marketing Campaigns and, where we do use any published data, it will be
only for purposes related to the running of Events in Towns services. We
will not sell or share any data we receive from site users to any third
party.
27. We will retain Personal Data provided by site users for the duration of
their Membership or whilst users are subscribed to any Events in Towns
accounts or email notifications. Member Accounts will be retained for 2
years following Account closure, to enable Members to re-subscribe without
having to re-submit their information in its entirety.
28. Free Advertisers’ Personal Data are retained for 3 months following the
expiry of the published event/s, to allow for post-event email follow-up.
29. All published Events will be retained in an archive for historical
purposes as a record of past events. Event details will be anonymised for
retention on the archive.
30. Events in Towns have no liability for Third Party use of any data held
on the website, where such use contravenes these Terms of Use. Unauthorised
sharing or use of data from the website is prohibited.
